Selenskyj: Russland mangelt es an Kraft für Großoffensive
Die schweren Kämpfe an der Front dauern an. Selenskyj geht davon aus, dass es Russland an Kraft fehlt. Und rechnet mit Lieferungen für die Luftabwehr.
Der ukrainische Präsident Wolodymyr Selenskyj geht davon aus, dass Russland in seinem Angriffskrieg erst einmal keine Großoffensive mehr starten kann. “Ich glaube, dass es ihnen derzeit an der Kraft für großangelegte Offensiven mangelt”, teilte Selenskyj am Abend auf der Plattform X mit und verwies darauf, dass Russland so viele Soldaten verloren habe, dass es keine starken zusätzlichen Aktionen durchführen könne.
Seine Angaben können derzeit nicht unabhängig überprüft werden. Russland führt seit mehr als dreieinhalb Jahren einen Angriffskrieg in der Ukraine. Angaben zu ihren eigenen Verlusten machen beide Seiten so gut wie nie, vereinzelt erwähnte Zahlen erachten Experten als deutlich zu niedrig gegriffen.
Selenskyj sagte, Russland habe in diesem Jahr Offensivoperationen entlang vier Hauptachsen vorbereitet: Sumy, Nowopawliwka, Pokrowsk und Saporischschja. “Die Operation in Sumy ist bereits gescheitert – Russland hat schwere Verluste erlitten, insbesondere an Menschenleben, und hat Truppen an andere Fronten verlegt.” Die ukrainischen Streitkräfte hätten ihnen dort noch größere Verluste zugefügt.
Anfang August hatte der ukrainische Oberbefehlshaber Olexij Syrskyj gesagt, besonders kritisch sei die Situation im ostukrainischen Donezker Gebiet an den Frontabschnitten bei Pokrowsk, Dobropillja und an der Grenze zur Region Dnipropetrowsk bei Nowopawliwka.
Selenskyj rechnet mit Raketen für Luftabwehrsysteme
Selenskyj erwartet nach eigenen Worten die baldige Lieferung von Raketen für die Luftabwehrsysteme Patriot und Himars. Über den sogenannten Nato-Mechanismus PURL (“Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List”) habe die Ukraine von ihren Partnern bereits mehr als zwei Milliarden US-Dollar erhalten.
Im Oktober erwarte sein Land weitere Mittel, sodass sich die Gesamtsumme auf rund 3,6 Milliarden US-Dollar belaufen werde. Die ersten beiden Pakete im Wert von jeweils 500 Millionen US-Dollar würden neben anderen Ausrüstungen sicher auch Raketen für Patriot- und Himars-Systeme enthalten, sagte Selenskyj.
Mit dem neuen Nato-Mechanismus PURL koordiniert das Bündnis die Umsetzung der Lieferung von Waffen, die in den USA für Kiew beschafft, aber von Partnern der Ukraine finanziert werden.

Der US-Film (Start: 29.8.) über ein Teenagerpärchen, das von anonymen Nachrichten bedroht wird, sammelte bislang fast 50 Millionen Abrufe weltweit. Zuschauerinnen und Zuschauer zeigen sich schockiert von der Auflösung.

Dann beginnen jedoch anonyme Messages, die darauf abzielen, das junge Paar auseinanderzubringen. Das Mobbing via Handy wird immer schlimmer, die Nachrichten werden bösartig und vulgär.
Blockieren kann das junge Paar den Absender nicht, da Apps genutzt werden, die ständig neue Rufnummern generieren. Das Misstrauen in der jungen Liebe, in der Familie, an der Schule, in der Stadt wird immer größer.
Das FBI löste den Fall
Selbst eine Trennung des Paares bringt kein Ende. Das Stalking gegen Lauryn nimmt ungeheuerliche Ausmaße an. Schließlich kann das FBI doch das Rätsel lösen – es kommt zu juristischen Folgen.
Catfishing – etwa in Dating-Apps oder auf Social-Media-Plattformen – bezeichnet das Vortäuschen einer falschen Online-Identität durch einen Cyberkriminellen (den Catfish). Das Ziel ist meist, das Opfer emotional auszubeuten. Oft geht es auch darum, finanziell zu betrügen.
Der Begriff „Catfish“ (Katzenwels) rührt von einer gleichnamigen Doku von Nev Schulman aus dem Jahr 2010. Darin vergleicht jemand diese spezielle Art der Cyberkriminalität mit dem Einsatz von Katzenwelsen im Fischfang.
Die Welse werden demnach beim Transport lebenden Kabeljaus eingesetzt, damit der Dorsch (also Kabeljau/englisch: cod) aktiv bleibt und nicht blass und lethargisch wird – und auf diese Weise seine Qualität für den Handel und Verzehr nicht verliert.
